I remember when Vitamin Water first came out and it was all the rage. I admit, I was a sucker for it, too. But slowly the craze ended, and who would have thought that the natural stuff called waterwould win in the end?! It doesn’t have any fancy names like our former friend, but it always does what it needs to do – hydrate!
It just seems silly to drink Vitamin Water and feel you’re actually doing your body a favour. So, it got me thinking.,why not make my own Vitamin Water, but with nature’s ingredients! :)
You’re gonna want to grab a pitcher! Any will do. Is it
sad awesome to say that buying this glass pitcher a month ago was entirely for this purpose?
Next, you’re going to add the following to it (i.e.: what you see above – I went with the raspberry-mint-lime flavour combo):
- 8 cups water
- 8-10 slices of lime
- 1/2 – 3/4 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- 10-12 mint leaves
(You can also add some sweetener if it taste too bitter to you. I loved it just the way it was though.)
